Environmental and landscape restoration of the area.

Parallel to these actions, the environmental and landscape restoration will be started, through the plantation of autoctonous species, according to a criterion of selecting vegetation typical of the area.

The aim is to integrate an architectural action within a global intervention for the recovery of this mining area, which will preserve and foster its natural values.

The actions foreseen are:

• Conditioning of the exterior of the Matilde Mine,

• A test of environmental restoration in an old pool of mining waste with highly polluted soil,

• Creation of an interpretative itinerary between both mines.
